Having read the last posts (The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception) I feel that I have been cheated of many years of my life. I am at the time of writing 64 years old and have been a Christian for most of my life. The book, if it is to be believed in its entirety, casts a lot of doubt on the Christianity I have followed. I am sure the same regret applies to people of other religions.
If the Church indeed has taught rebirth in the past and then suddenly ceased to teach it I suspect their motives and the suspicion is strong that this knowledge is held in reserve for the hierachy of the Church. Each morning priests, at least in the Roman Church, are obliged to read what is called 'The Divine Office'. It is a grave sin for them not to read it and now I too want to investigate this book and find out for myself what it contains.
Why do I feel so cheated?
Becaue the Church has had me do one thing to steer my soul towards heaven with the warning that I have but one chance. Now it seems that we have many chances with angels themselves guiding us EVEN AFTER WE DIE!
Immediately after death we arrive in a place (The First Heaven) where our faults are pointed out to us and we are given the chance to repent (turn back), to enter the Second Heaven where we are guided into entering another life during which we try to rectify those faults.
AND KEEP ON PUTTING THINGS RIGHT UNTIL OUR SOULS ARE PURE ENOUGH TO ENTER THE HIGHEST HEAVEN.
In discovering this I am excited that one day I will make it because there is only evolution of the soul and it is impossible to get worse only better.
This is what my search for the truth has so far given me and it beats everything sixty odd years of Christianity has taught me. No hell fire for sinners.
And even if I don't try to improve myself, if I was to be the world's worst sinner then I am saved through Jesus Christ whose death on the cross was atomement for all those who do not follow the Christian Faith.
